HIPAAclarity is a small consulting firm led by Kevin A. McLellan. Mr. McLellan has provided HIPAA compliance services to many healthcare organizations and technology companies. This has included work with doctors’ offices and clinics, SaaS companies, data modeling services, EMR developers, and medical device manufacturers. Many clients are based in the San Francisco Bay area and New England.
Mr. McLellan comes with a wide experience in IT, previously holding staff and management IT positions at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, FedEx, and Express Scripts. He has degrees from Rhodes College (BA) and the University of Memphis (MA). He had also published articles about HIPAA in national medical magazines.
In addition to expertise in HIPAA, Mr. McLellan also provides FDA Sec 820 compliance services to medical device manufacturers. He is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 13485:2016.
